RADIUS READS: ON MONSTROSITY

Book Tickets

RADIUS invites you to participate RADIUS READS: ON MONSTROSITY, an event in connection with the current exhibition CAN THE MONSTER SPEAK? Drawing and expanding from the research behind the exhibition, the reading session seeks to open up a space for knowledge exchange and reflection around different embodiments, affects, and considerations of monstrosity as a tool of resistance, a mode of becoming, and a political position. This event consists of a guided tour of the exhibition and a reading session. During the session, we will read from a reader containing literature assembled especially for it. In a non-hierarchical and easygoing manner, we will be reading and discussing altogether.

CONTRIBUTE
If you would like to participate, we ask you to consider sending us reading material on monstrosity of your liking to be included in the reader, together with its bibliographical reference. You may send any piece of writing (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.) or images that you deem topical and interesting. Texts can be submitted in any language. We welcome pdfs, scans, and photographs so long as the text is readable. Sending material is voluntary. The deadline to send material is Friday the 30th of January, which can be submitted to exhibitions@radius-cca.org.
